Win Some Lockdown Loot! PriceSpy’s Top Games for February

Articles Gaming news Slider

We’re in lockdown, and maybe things are looking a little gloomy. So PriceSpy has stepped in to give you a little something to look forward to when all this sitting around is done!

Yep, thanks to the wonderfully impartial price comparison site, you are getting the chance to win one of five games (and you get to pick which one!). These five were the most-searched for by Kiwis in the month of February.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been hanging in there for quite some time and actually manages to retake the number one spot! Though the games that catch my eye are Dreams and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If you haven’t checked out Dreams, PLEASE do so. It really looks like a masterpiece of a game. In fact, Laura gave Dreams a 9.5/10!!

Also, Animal Crossing! While I’m not surprised to see that one there, I am surprised to see no Doom: Eternal. Maybe it’ll make the top five in March… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gimme some games!

So, PriceSpy have given us the chance to award one of these five games to two awesome people! If you have an Xbox, yes, you’ll be able to get Call of Duty or NBA 2K20. But the rest are console exclusives, sorry!

PriceSpy would like to note that if you’re looking to save money, it’s in your favour to wait at least three months from release. That three month mark tends to see considerable price drops in games.

Fortunately, you can spend one of those months being forced not to buy any new (physical) games. There’s always a bright side to look at!

To all those who enter the competition, good luck! And please be kind and stay safe. From the team at Pretty Much Geeks!
